Very poor service. My expensive Acer laptop (new price 1,050.00) was out of warranty for 1 week when my screen stopped turning on after using the Fn-F5 function (screen off). I only used this laptop 1 to 2 times a month to make an inspection report of a camera inspection of sewer pipes. When I connected an external monitor, it turned out that the laptop was still working fine, only the screen backlighting did not turn on anymore. I contacted Acer and sent the laptop to the repair service. Result: The motherboard should be replaced, which costs 827.48. After a difficult communication (at Acer answers seem to end up in a mailbox that nobody reads) I finally get a discount of 113.22. Shameful !!! I have always found Acer a good price / quality ratio, but after this service experience I decided not to buy Acer anymore. So to everyone: make sure you don't get a defect on your Acer laptop and do not send it to Acer service center in case of a defect.
