Went through three 3 job interviews for a front desk position where each interviewer did not take the time to read my resume in advance, was either late to the interview, or told me I d be expecting a call by a certain day and never heard back unless I d take the initiative to call on the last day. It took a month of communication to finally reach the third interview where they wanted me at the front desk for two hours to see how I perform and if I fit with the WAC culture . They re very disorganized and I would go further to say they don t welcome OUR people of color. The staff at every gym was predominantly (if not all) white staff. The managers were all white. Most members were white. Prices have much to do with membership and I ve spoken with several black and Latino friends who went through similar lengths just to be acknowledged at the gym. My advice: choose another gym with people who look like you because it ll tell you about their values. This high end facility is another Jim Crow facility.
