Got called in about some urgent roles the company ...

Got called in about some urgent roles the company had available. When I went for the registration meeting I was told that I would have to wait a while since they were running behind schedule. This didn't bother me as these things happen. What bothered me was about 15 minutes later I was met with someone different who I spoke with on the phone, and he was talking so fast that I could barely understand a word of what he said. In and out of the meeting in five minutes. If you don't have time to interview your candidates properly, do not invite so many in!

Heard nothing about these "urgent" roles. A week later I got a call about a role in a well known charity that had nothing to do with my profile or what I was looking for. I agreed to put my CV through regardless. I checked up after a week - no update. This went on for about a month. Then got a call from my consultant about a temp role in the same company - no explanation or apology for lack of contact or anything! I decided whatever I'll go ahead and agree to out my CV forward. A week later got interview confirmation with very little about the interview itself - a test that I had no idea was coming!

The interviewers told me they would get back to the agency in a couple of days, but guess what? I heard NOTHING, even a week later! Even if the company had not responded I would have liked to know!

I'm done with Gordon Yates and advise everyone to avoid them. Don't waste your time or money travelling to meet them.
