If I could give no stars I would. I had ACDF c5/6 surgery on 6/11. I woke up from surgery with dizziness and the room sideways, I couldn't walk or stand. I continued to tell the neurosurgeon and nurses that something was wrong, the dizziness wasn't normal and I was off balance. I was ignored. They tried to tell me I was having panic attacks and gave me Valium. I was having tachycardia and heart pounding within 24 hours after surgery. They wanted to send me home, I refused as I couldn't stand. I left on the 5th day, had to use a wheelchair and still couldn't stand or walk. Called my neurosurgeon office and he was awful, told me the dizziness had nothing to do with him. I went to another ER and had numerous tests ran and I was diagnosed with a right cerebellum stroke. I had it during my hospital stay and St. Luke's ignored the issues and symptoms. I'm younger and now debilitated, if I would of been sent to rehabilitation while I was in the hospital, I probably wouldn't be so debilitated currently. I would advise others not to go to St. Luke's. Dangerous and awful patient care. Filed a formal complaint with the state and hospital. Something needs to be done to ensure this doesn't happen to others.
