Ordered a phone through the AT&T website for pick up in the store. When I ordered yesterday I was told it would be ready in about two hours. I finally got the email that it was ready for pickup about 7 hours after I ordered the phone and of course the store was closed by that point. Now I come today to pick up the phone and they literally can not get the system to release the phone to me. I ve been here for over an hour....
Update: The agent eventually told me that his best advice was to wait until the hold clears In three days and try to order again. I went back to my car and tried to dial 611 to speak to Customer Retention and found out that the phone I walked in with was now disconnected from the network. I went back to the store and spent another hour there only to be told there are SIM delays and my phone should work sometime later. The agent did his best with what he had but ultimately whatever AT&T is pushing out to the store is not user friendly for anyone.
