Stephanie Hosley Review of Oak Grove Academy

I spoke with the director about enrolling my three year old son and explicitly explained to her and the teacher the defiant behaviors (hitting, running, etc) that he started just before he turned three. They both explained that they were trained in behavior modification and would work with him and our family. My husband and I enrolled my son just to have the director call me at noon two days later stating that our son was no longer welcomed at the school. The only time they called us to discuss his behavior was when he was being expelled. When I spoke to the director, she stated that maybe I "should have him evaluated." Two days later, we enrolled him at another area day care center that was able to work with him to stop the behaviors (which only took a week). I cannot recommend this center for those parents who have active children. If your child is not active and displays none of the "terrible two" or "terrible three" behaviors, this is the center for you.
