Piedmont Newnan was a great place to visit to be healed from Covid-19. I would have given them a five star but I must say that the culture of the E.R staff needed much improvement. The E.R. doctor immediately asks everyone why they are not vaccinated, in front of everyone in the hallways, as if they are already not at a vulnerable point in their life. They don t make you feel welcomed and safe, which I feel is very important for healing purposes. Dr. Jones I believe his name was seemed to have lost his sensitivity. Also, I felt as if my symptoms were minimized. If you couldn t breathe you wouldn t be able to talk. Dr. Jones was terrible with this. It was almost as if you had to prove how sick you were while there.

On the other hand paramedic Nicki was so understanding and helped me heal by listening to where I was struggling at. She gave me recommendations for healing at a pace that I could handle and that would not send me into a coughing fit. I felt as if my EXPERIENCED mother was taking care of me. 6th floor. Nurse Lisa ans Dr. Kevin Sullivan. Tech Hakimah and all other techs and nurses that took care of me understood that healing was not only regaining medical strength but also knowing that bedside manners make the patient feel less scared.
Five days after discharge I received a phone call from Dr. Sullivan, as he said he was just checking on me. AMAZING CARE is all I can say! Please look up everyone who was on my shift after admission. Thank you Piedmont Newnan!
