Can't quite understand why the school received four stars. The school is really crowded! You can tell that a lot of money is being made there. The EF Clan's sales machinery is going very well. The teachers seem to be really stressed (a teacher also reported that the payment and handling of the staff is underwhelming). You pay for the documents / books that you do not receive. Very disorganized employees. Trips / franchises (e.g. t-shirt sales) make even more money. It might be nice for schoolchildren, but if you go there as a working student, it is uninteresting.
I don't recommend school at all.
As a student: make an exchange year if possible!
As a student: do a semester abroad or internship abroad!
As an employee: You can also attend many intensive English courses in your home country and if you are ambitious, do it from home!
My host mom, with whom I was allowed to live, received the one star. I was very lucky with her. Standard of living was okay and it was a little further away. But I am not demanding and I was very happy that I was allowed to stay with her. I heard other horror stories there.
