The best thing about New York is the amazing central park. There are so many parts to explore, you really feel like you are no longer in a massive city. The air is beautiful and fresh too. The park is really well maintained and clean. Squirrels and birds are everywhere, and beautiful blossoms in spring. Go before 7am to see it without the crowds, it is so peaceful at this time and you can get really nice photos without other people in them.
