I was terrified of giving birth. I chose She Births so I could replace fear with scientific information, trust and peace.
The course made me an informed participant in the birth of my daughter. When complications arose I was able to move to my own preferences B & C and I believe having this consent enabled me to have an empowering birth experience as opposed to what it looked like on paper, traumatic.
Despite my daughter's tongue tie I was able to successfully breastfeed her and still continue to breastfeed her nearly three years on. I believe I was able to do his because of the information provided at She Births about the breast crawl and attachment parenting styles.
