8 days and No STATUS ON my Order, NO Communication...

8 days and No STATUS ON my Order, NO Communication Until I email and CALL to inquire?
Purchased fabrics to make a quilt on 7/12, after watching a MSQC tutorial.
Initially one of the fabrics was Sold out, then finally showed stock again, a few weeks later, so I ordered both. Now 8 days after ordering, I had to email and then CALL THEM TO inquire.
1 Fabric Now on Back Order, mind you ( 8) days ago it was available???
I understand things happen, but 8 days???? No notification until I the customer check on my order???
Now fabric is NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL MID AUGUST ( OVER A MONTH AFTER MY INITIAL ORDER). Customer service, order fulfillment (lack of ) are HUGELY DISAPPOINTING! Things happen, but 8 DAYS? Wowza!!! Sourced my missing fabric to use to complete my quilt from another small company online, paid Priority Mail to get it, atleast now I can get working when both arrive.
So much for the free shipping over $100 with having to find & pay Priority from another supplier.
Called and told them Cancel the backordered fabric, and credit my account, they credited, but NOT the Full Cost, Really??? Have to CALL them again??? Rrrr!!!
Shorted my credit by $3+, asked what & why, aah...the Quilter's cash, loyalty discount from being a prior customer, applied this against my refund and shorted me.
They indicated it has to me manually fixed, mind you the 1st person I talked to said no problem, we will refund for the item we DONT have. - DID NOT HAPPEN, Glad I watch Refunds like HAWK.
Morale of the story, if you Need it ----make sure they have it in STOCK.
Or you will be disappointed like me.!! I Was Sooo excited to start on this quilt next week, and use Jenny's tutorial to make my 1st quilt for my son. Been planning this for over a month. Now I am aggravated, frustrated and it will be the quilt I will remember as the 8 Day Quilt. Hoping everything arrives as I have put aside time, planned to do this next week.
This is the SECOND TIME I've had MSQC Sell out and backorder an item. Really DISAPPOINTING! Atleast that one was not needed like this is!!!
Really NEED to get staff to provide customer service! If NOT in STOCK, call, email or chisel in a stone!---- contact the CUSTOMER, --TIMELY!
NOT IN 8 DAYS!! AND THEM HAVE TO CALL Y O U !!
Provide details - ANTICIPATED SHIP INFO on CURRENT ORDER/BACKORDERS!
Make sure REFUNDS ARE CORRECT! ESPECIALLY With LOYAL REPEAT CUSTOMERS Using Quilter's Cash.
Enjoy MSQC Jenny's Tutorials, has inspired me to learn to quilt. Just love Jenny & the videos!
Wanted to post this so these issues can get fixed, not a good business practice. I know things happen, we are human, but these are elements that can make a customer NOT RETURN, especially if a company is Unreliable & No Communication. Hopefully this gets researched to find out WHO & WHY this happened--???? Someone or more Dropped the Ball!
