I usually only like to write reviews of positive experiences and praise good customer service but my recent experience with Specialist Cars, Stevenage and BMW Customer Service UK has been so bad that I feel compelled to highlight it. I had corrosion on all four wheels of my BMW X3 which I contested should have been replaced without a contribution from myself. My main complaint, however, is that it took BMW four months to finally reply to me.
I spoke to seven Customer Service advisers in total, some from BMW UK Customer Service and others from Specialist Cars. Each time I was fobbed off with an excuse as to why no progress had been made. My emails were not responded to and when I left phone messages I never got a call back. I was always polite and understanding but I have found that BMW complaint procedure is a farce, as no one has the authority to make a decision.
I had hoped that buying a BMW was going to be a positive experience in so many ways but, like so many others they fall woefully short. I smiled when I saw a recent poster that said, "Service that keeps you coming back". I don't think so.
