Bought a 2017 Accord Hybrid and they texted me a price I agreed to. The dealership told me they would complete the registration and I would receive my license plate in the mail in a couple of weeks.

After a few weeks, I still hadn't received my license plate. So I called to ask if there had been any issues and they told me that they sent it in and to wait another week. A few days after the phone call, I was pulled over and told that our car was not registered. I called the dealership and told them what had happened. They told me they never sent the papers in for registration. Because the car was registered a month and a half after it was bought, I was charged late fees that the dealership has still refused to pay.

During this process, I also discovered that they sold the car to me for about $1000 more than the price we had agreed upon previously through the text. When I brought this to the attention of the salesman, he said he would talk to his manager and give me a call back. I never got a call back. I called the dealership a few weeks later and was told the manager was out, but that they would take a message and he would return my call. I never got a call back. A month later, I was finally able to get a hold of the manager. He was abrasive, rude, and unhelpful. He refused to listen to what I even had to say. He dismissed my claim that I was charged more than we agreed to. When I brought up the late fees for registering the car late, he said he would get my paperwork and give me a call back. It's been three months and I still haven't received a call back.

This dealership either made a mistake on our paperwork (which is fine, we all make mistakes) that needs to be fixed, or they intentionally increased the price to line their pockets. I'm hesitant to say it's the latter but their response leads me to believe it. I will never buy from the dealership again and advise everyone to stay away from them.
