Recently received a part (A/C Condenser) from RockAuto that arrived damage out of the box. I am active duty military and currently stationed overseas, because of this my vehicle has been in the shop for quite some time while awaiting parts only available from the U.S. ordered by my mechanic for repairs. The parts I had ordered from RockAuto were not ready to be installed until my mechanic received the parts he ordered. Once my mechanic was ready to install and opened the box there was significant damage discovered to the coils and refrigerant tubing that made it unable to be installed. The packaging itself was completely inadequate (just a strand of bubble wrap) and clearly was mishandled. Rock Auto has no options to actually talk to a human being and their automated system automatically disqualifies me from making a return or submitting a warranty claim because it has been 40 days instead of 30. I should not be financially responsible for something that is not my fault. It's unacceptable that this happened in the first place. I have ordered large parts from RockAuto on numerous occasions but I will no longer waste my hard earned money on them in the future.
