Love Eldora!

It's been shunned off as a small, windy and icy resort but it's short lift lines, powder stashes in trees, great groomers and 100% coverage in snowmaking make it a great destination for Boulder and Ned locals who want to get some turns in while avoiding foreign Jerry's and endless tourist crowds.

Great for learning because the terrain progresses from easiest to hardest (looking from the parking lot towards the ski area) and it's hard to get unknowingly trapped in difficult terrain.

Parking is limited so plan on getting their early on weekends/holidays/pow days or take the RTD N-Bus from Boulder.
