We stayed at The Christie Lodge over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We arrived early and were let into our room early. The front desk clerk was super friendly and conducted business fast. They were very knowledgeable about the area and offered many options for dining and shopping. The concierge desk supplemented anything beyond the front desk clerk s level of familiarity.

Throughout our stay, we would ski all day and unwind in the pool and hot tubs in the evenings. There were also ping pong and shuffle board tables available for guests use, free of charge. The entire common areas were well heated and comfortable for walking around in shorts and flip flops.

Overall, the lodge exceeded our expectations. The price was well below average for the area, utilizing the Armed Forces Vacation Club. We will definitely be back.

Tip: The Avon shuttle arrives every 15-30 minutes, right outside the front doors of the lodge, depending on the season. It will drop you off at the front of the Beaver Creek Lodge/ski area. Utilize the bus, in order to avoid paying for parking at the Bear or Elk lots.
