I'm going to edit my review. I was charged a fair amount for a full-service fork and shock rebuild, but honestly, it was a bike that was 6 months old and probably just needed the basic suspension service, not a complete overhaul. My frustration was that I was expecting a basic suspension service but got talked into a really fancy rebuild without really understanding what they were going to do. I was never told the price until I went to pick it up and was given a $300 bill when I was expecting to pay about half that. Basically, I got upsold without knowing it. Make sure to ask for prices up front.

Additionally, I'm always happy to pay more for good service, but they convinced me to set up my fork and shock totally wrong. I weigh 135, why would you tell me I need THREE tokens in my fork? After paying $300, you made my bike feel like I had only half the travel in the fork and landing drops felt like I was landing on a rigid fork. My frame cracked a few months later on the rear triangle, and although I suspect it wasn't built right, I also wonder if having a basically rigid fork put needless stress on the frame and aided in the stress crack on the rear triangle.

Please don't make more bad recommendations while simultaneously upselling services.

They get 2 stars because they were friendly and at least had a fast turnaround with the service (2 days).

Further evidence of their price issues (though this is minor compared to the suspension service): While we were waiting for them to redo the brake (they also serviced one brake but didn't do it right and it had air in the lines that was immediately apparent - maybe they didn't check their work? - but at least they fixed it immediately), they offered a cider and said it would only be like $3-4. We said sure, they opened it, we started drinking it. Then when she went to charge it, it was actually $8. She took off a dollar, but it seemed pretty lame to tell us one price and then charge us more once it was already opened. Minor, but felt like a pattern.

I am not trying to bash a hard-working bike shop, but I wanted to share that experience in the hopes that doesn't happen to anyone else.
