The most easily accessible battlefield of the four in the area - you could get a lot out of a pretty short visit or could spend hours on the walking tour and other points of interest. The visitor center has a good collection of exhibits spanning two floors. Outside, the self-guided walking tour is well-marked with a good number of informative signs. The walk along the sunken road is easy and gives a vivid picture of the famous battle there. Going up to Marye's Heights felt less essential to me from a historical standpoint, but when I went in the spring it was very pretty up there, with flowering trees in bloom and lots of birds.
