I m not one to write reviews or make a fuss but I after the way me and my family were treated feel like I have to make a point. My family and I were made to feel like we don t belong here!

When we were trying to check in, the incompetent receptionist said that she doesn t have my booking. Despite me showing her a print out including reservation numbers and proof via email. I was told that they want mine and my family s ID and to go and sit down away from the reception desk. So I complied giving the receptionist the benefit of the doubt. I wait for over 30 minutes to be told that my booking is not on their system. One of the other receptionists finally managed to find our booking about 45 minutes later. The excuse was they had not been told about our stay it wasn t on their schedule.

Once the receptionist found my booking she asked me to fill out a form which had a section for business details etc. She saw that I was a business owner and started to speak to me with a little more respect. After this she asked me for a credit card to cover damages if there would be any. I put down my American Express, as soon as she saw this she started to become friendly . I am appalled that because they saw that I had a business and a gold card their attitude changed. This is absolutely disgusting. Additionally to top it off the manager thought that I didn t understand French and told the receptionist serving us that don t offer them any upgrades they booked through a website and upgrades are not for them.

The next day (today) the only thing we asked reception for was to change the bed sheets. When we returned to the hotel to our dismay the bed sheets were not changed there was a valence sheet left on my sisters suitcase. I think they expected us to change it ourself!! When I called reception to ask what s going on the same rude manager lady said you told us everything was fine and you didn t want us to do anything. This was the final straw! Hence the review.

I travel a lot for business and stay in hotels I have never felt so unwelcome or unwanted.

I would never come back to this hotel! I really hope that the staff get sent on Customer Service training.
