I was very disappointed in the care we received at this place. Specifically, the business model itself, and the fact that they refuse to treat your animal without upfront payment. My cat had a cut on his leg that they said would need sedation and sutures, but we didn t have $500 to fork over to them at the time, so they bandaged him and told us to take him to his vet the next morning instead. The employees merely did what they were allowed to do, which was to compromise the care of my pet because in the past, other patients have neglected to pay their bills, which is neither their (the employees) faults nor mine, but it really put us in a bad situation and caused unnecessary suffering for my cat. What s the point of being an emergency vet if you won t provide emergency care over something like this? The point of your job is to take care of animals. I understand that there are limitations in some situations, but if your purpose and true intent with your career/business is to provide care for emergent animals, don t make it about the money, make it about the patient like any decent human being or compassionate caregiver is supposed to.
