500 seat theatre in the middle of town, full of character and over 100 years of history. Although the building has had several refurbs over the years, and boasts good audio/visual equipment, it still appears lacking in completeness, with cables strewn taped over across the floor in the main walkways. Only one WC was available when we attended for a children's showing of Bing, which made catching the toilet train somewhat tedious given the majority of audience were under the age of 5. All in all, a decent venue but clearly lacking in funding from Harrogate Borough Council.
