Pathgroup filed claims to incorrect insurance even though they had my correct insurance information in file. Then they sent me a notice of collection.

I have received multiple times a bill of $66.xx from PathGroup with service date **/**/18 and referring physician Dr. ***. The bill states that a claim was filed on **/**/18 to an insurance provider which is not our current insurance provider. The details of our current insurance provider is with Dr. *** and also with PathGroup. But PathGroup filed the claim to the incorrect insurance provider. Recently, I received a "notice of collection" in the mail from PathGroup for the amount of $66.xx which I cannot pay until my current insurance provider has first paid their due.

It is entirely PathGroup's fault that they filed the claim to the incorrect insurance provider in spite of having complete information regarding my current insurance provider in their file. This caused the delay in paying the bill. Instead of rectifying their error, PathGroup is repeatedly sending me bills and finally a "notice of collection". PathGroup has been unnecessarily harassing me and messed up my impeccable credit record. Stay away from PathGroup at any cost!
