It's only possible to visit on a guided tour, which lasts about an hour. It's not possible to go in and wander around yourself. That's because it's actually in what was, once upon a time, a house, and there really isn't enough space for self-guided tours.

I loved the tour, and our tour guide was lots of fun. You will learn a lot about Motown, and even if you already know quite a bit, it is still worthwhile to be in this music factory which for so many years produced dozens of hits.
