We've been staying at the Brice ever since Kimpton renovated its stodgy predecessor into a hip, relaxed and dog friendly hotel.

I'm sad to say that while the design still feels fresh, maintenance has not kept pace; it's feeling rather worn down. Examples: wallpaper peeling, towel and TP holders falling off the walls, exterior signage peeling, dinged up mill work in the rooms, mold in the showers, paint cracking and peeling... You get the point.

On a positive note, the management and service were prompt and friendly; we were initially placed in a room directly above the valet, which was super noisy. When we requested a different room, the manager, without fuss, switched us up.

Regardless, unless The Brice gets a refresh, we'll be looking for new accommodations in Savannah next time we visit.
