The front line people in this organization are excellent, they work very hard and have a great understanding of what their clients need. These folks receive thanks and abuse every day and still come in to work because they know people throughout the state of Michigan are in distress. They painstakingly process apps, schedule events, order supplies, and make things happen for low income families without making a mis-step. They are exacting in their work and take the time to help their co-workers be the best they can be.

It is then very disturbing that department directors, the CEO, and it's board members can't lead with competence or due diligence. The incompetence is truly mind boggling. They will hear a rumor or misunderstand a situation and then go out of their way to fabricate a lie that sound possible. The CEO blindly accepts what is given to her and a worker that was providing outstanding service to their department and thus to the state is dropped because in Michigan a lie is good enough reason for termination.
