My claim has been on hold for an issue for going on 8 weeks now. I have called multiple times every week for the last few weeks to get this issue resolved. Every time I talk to someone that person tells me they cannot help solve my issue and that a claims investigator will get a hold of me. No one has called me at all in 8 weeks. The people I talk to on the phone are literally just wasting their breath and are a waste of labor resources. I feel bad for them. Why do their bosses have people working that can't help you? Why not train them to be able to help people? It logistically makes no sense at all. I know these are busy times, but people's lives are at stake here. It is a national emergency. I'm going to have to borrow money for my rent and food because they have failed to help me. I'm considering getting a lawyer to help get the money the government has offered to me in assistance with the global pandemic. If they need extra help then get the help. If they can't get to me right away then at least give me a place in line to when I can expect to have my issue resolved. I am a self-employed person and I filed a normal claim per instructed and thought I would get denied and covered under the PUA. I got accepted and now my payments are on hold for an issue? Why accept a claim when there is an issue? Makes no sense. The system is full of flaws and misallocated resources and the people of our state are suffering. Taxpayer dollars fund this I believe. Where is the leadership? Where is the effort to take care of the needs of the people? No logistical sense and no visible effort. A disappointing department indeed.
