Avoid at any costs! really I cannot repeat this enough. Applying for a visa (Tier 2 in my case) is such a stressful process and then having them as a lawyer just made everything more stressful.

I dealt with a lawyer called Kashif Majid. Here is what happened so brace yourselves:
- Throughout the application process I could hardly get in touch with Mr. Majid and was only able to talk to the admin staff he works with
- My visa was rejected by the home office (which is normal, it happens). My Majid's secretary sent me the news on Friday afternoon (bank Holiday on Monday) and told me that my visa was rejected without giving me any explanation. I wasn't able to reach him until 6 days later.
- I was so nervous that I got a second (expensive) opinion and was told that the home office made a mistake and that I could easily appeal and win. When i went back to Aston Brookes with the information they didn't know what to say. I wanted to appeal but wanted to change from Aston Brookes but I was advised by friends not to change lawyers midway so I stayed with them.
- Appeal process took around 8 month and then Aston Brookes sent me the date for my court date. They made a mistake with the date which made me think I missed my appointment (again over a weekend).
- They asked me for information with the application but it was obvious it is a generic email they send to everyone or that they made a mistake and sent me someone else's email. I consulted (AGAIN) with another lawyer and sent them a very angry email asking if they made a mistake (AGAIN). They ended up sending me the right list of required docs

I really cannot say this enough, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. It wasn't their fault that the application was rejected but had I not had another opinion they would not have told me that I can appeal.

What promoted me to write this review is that now (3 years later from when all this happened) I am in the process of renewing my visa. Aston Brookes at that point failed to inform me that there was a paper that I should have signed and now my visa is at the risk of being rejected
