In late April of 2020, approximately one week after this company was approved for an emergency Paycheck Protection Program loan by the Small Business Association that was between $1-2 million dollars, more than 10 full time employees were terminated. Anywhere from 60 to 75% of this loan, a loan that could be 100% forgiven was supposed to be spent on payroll costs to ensure people would not lose their jobs. It goes without saying that this employer had no intention of protecting its employees during the early stages of the COVID-19 crisis. Well done!
