Overall I feel the service from Scan Alarms has been poor
When fitting the alarm a misunderstanding between the electrician and the Scan alarms salesman meant the wrong cable was fitted. Each blamed the other party and I as the customer was the one was affected.
Although a solution was found I don't feel I was treated well as the customer.
Then when the engineer was fitting the sensors the the New back door the handle was damaged. Noting was said and I only noticed that night when I got home. When I said to the sales man he said he would speak to the engineer who denied it was him and they refused to accept any responsibility. I advised that it was the only plausible explanation for the damage. Salesman said he would speak to his boss but that it would do no good. He never came back to me and I had to pay for the handle to be replaced.
1year later I received an Invoice for my first years maintenance fee which I was told would be waived when I signed initial contract. I spoke to a customer service agent who agreed to get the original salesman to contact me. I spoke to him once about 4 months ago and he said he would get back to me but never has.
Following posting this review I was contacted by the salesman who apologised as he thought the issue in relation to the maintenance fee was resolved at the time. I now accept this has been resolved.
