I am so relieved! No more back pain and back to full workouts.

I injured myself in a Spartan race and after 3 weeks it seemed to be getting worse: constant pain in my right side and back that spiked when I got in or out of my car, when I shifted position at night, and on getting out of bed.

Jess Ellis identified four possible issues and ruled out what I thought was the problem before determining what he wanted to address. He taught me a routine of strengthening and stretching movements and sent me home with pictures and videos of myself doing the movements. It took about 4 weeks. First week I didn't see much improvement. Second week was only slightly better, but the third and fourth week I saw constant and dramatic improvement. I'm back to 100% now.

Jess coordinated with my coach Jesse Holland at SicFit to ramp my workouts back up. I'm particularly grateful because I felt in danger of losing hard earned gains. In the last year I've lost 35 lbs, put on almost 10 lbs in muscle (net 45 lbs fat loss) and I'm training for a Spartan Trifecta. I was already slipping back dramatically in the three weeks before I went to Exos.
