Worst experience ever! We call John Moore and had a service technician come out to our home because our ac wouldnt cool. The unit would turn on but the blades wouldnt spin but after doing some online research we were able to nudge the blades to get them going for a temporary fix. But when he came, he explained in detail that we would need to replace our whole system. He went on to try to get us to finance a $25,000 unit, advising us that trying to repair ($2000) it would be a waste of time. Long story short we did not qualify for financing (only qualified for 6000) and that's the only reason we didn't end up paying $25,000 that day. I asked him can we continue to nudge the blades till we find a permanent solution. He said no because now the system is totally dead! My husband went to go check out the unit the next morning and realized the technician unplugged the breaker from the side of the house , to make the system stopped working! We researched on the internet other options and realized we can replace the Single part ourself. It was the capacitor. We got the part for $24 and our system is running fine. I feel totally conned and I will never contact John Moore or will I ever suggest John Moore to anyone! Mind you... we are first time homeowners and I feel like he took complete advantage of that! In addition, the number that called me to review my financial info for line of credit didnt say John Moore on the caller id, it said Belinda. I hope they werent trying to con me for our ss# and personal info!!! We called to complain Saturday and they told us we wont get a call back till Monday. When filling out this review i didnt even see the techs name who came out to my home....Henry....so now im really concerned.
