As shopping centres go, it is nothing special, but has most of the amenities you'd expect.
H&M, Mediamarkt, Apple Store, etc.
The little shops can often sell pricey junk, but most of the people go for Iper, the supermarket, which is very big and has a huge selection of regional food. It puts to shame most of the German supermarkets (but that is easy).
Having nothing better to do, too many people hang around just to spend the day.
Avoid on weekends.
