A favourite place of mine.

During the current situation with Covid, booking ahead is essential.

I booked on-line and they just needed my name for entrance to the park, my folks also came along, they booked on-line and printed off their tickets.

It's a large place, so, if the weather is dry, it's a great place for a picnic! Plenty of picnic tables, etc.

Ample places to walk, including 2 lakes to walk around. Woodland areas, fields, footpaths, etc. Lots of bird life and if you're lucky, you may see highland cattle :-)

The cafe, in the main building was open and also the one at the Education Centre.

Toilets were open, lots of sanitisation stations available, strict one-way system in the main building.

It felt "safe", without detracting from being enjoyable.
