I went to d Bar expecting the same service and wonderful food as the old, smaller d bar. Instead, we were seated by an obviously hurried hostess. We then waited 15(!) Minutes for anybody to even approach our table (even though a group of waiters and waitress were chatting and talking to EACH OTHER. We had to specifically request water, and it was lukewarm when it came. After that we ordered the gluten free molten chocolate cake and churros. It took the pastry kitchen twenty minutes to complete our order, made worse by the fact that we were literally watching the pastry cook work on our food with agonizing slowness. The desserts were less than impressive, and, to add insult to injury, they obviously did not bring me the gf version, considering I spent that night throwing up (no I had no alcoholic drinks) and the next two days sick as well. Being a chef, I really expected better. This was even more disappointing since I convinced my husband to drive 20 minutes out of our way to try dbar. I would not go back.
