I love my new home, but I am wondering what the $7000 upcharge for my plot was used for. It was not used to grade, clear, or sod any additional square footage. Now I am having to spend an additional $10,000 in order to get my backyard properly graded, cleared from tree sized weeds and trash left behind by the construction crew and silk fence, and sodded. Such a disservice and disappointing.
