Sara Investment deserves '0' stars for their lack of professionalism and general ineptitude. Sara Investment purchased Clock Tower Office Park last November. From the 'takeover', they have demonstrated incompetence, bullying, and ill-will toward myself and tenants of the Office Park. From day one, they dropped off a letter requesting my bank account information. I had no prior knowledge of new ownership. No tenants did, and yet they sent the property manager, Steve, around to collect rent. As a legitimate business owner, I have checks issued directly from my bank. I would never entrust this business with my bank account information. For the next few months, they requested meetings for the purpose of determining whether or not I reside there as well. Their disruptions escalated when I began a remodel at my own cost. The remodel uncovered severe mold issues that stemmed from water seepage from the exterior wall and up under the concrete. Since business could not be conducted, I was relocated to another building in the complex. I spent the next week on vacation consulting with the property manager, Steve, and Jennilee, the asset manager, as well as my contractor. We relocated and incurred the expense of the move and set up in the new space. In a written agreement, they wrote that I would have the space until September 30.
Two days ago, Jennilee Podoll informed me that there was a tenant interested in the new space and we had to move out in less than two weeks. This is in direct conflict to which they agreed upon. I asked that they pay for the carpet tile installation and painting of my old space, along with confirmation of mold abatement and landscape remediation to amend the seepage issues. I started e2studio to help students achieve their dreams while pursuing mine. I started this business on my own with little in my pocket and the desire to give back to the community.
We have suffered flooding, mold infestation, relocation, disruption of business, and the stress of dealing with an incompetent, rude, disruptive, and unprofessional staff at Sara Investment. It is simply shameful!
