I took my dog there to get fixed. They did not do the surgery and I understood why. I accept that fact. I have used this vet on multiple occasions and had amazing experiences. This time was not the case.

When scheduling the appointment I told the receptionist multiple times my phone number had changed and still she did not change my information. I was not even given pre-op instructions. When showing up with my dog I was met at the door with them showing me a bill over 600 for another procedure they wanted to do. It caught me so off guard. My husband and I like to have time to think over everything before we say yes.

When called an hour and half later by the vet tech to tell me they could not do the procedure, I was told they did not give my dog sedation.

When I picked him up I initially was ignored by the receptionist. After paying and waiting for my dog I was approached by a vet tech. With others in the waiting room I was lectured on the collar my dog was in. There were exam rooms open that we could have had that conversation in.

When I finally got my dog, he was clearly sedated. It wasn't until 10p that night that my dog actually started perking up and started resembling his normal self.

After the public humiliation, getting caught off guard with a surprise procedure and clearly a lack of communication; we will not be taking any of our animals back.
