Even though it doesn't have as many interpreters in costume as they used to (when I was growing up they had 1-2 people in each building) O.S.V. still holds amazing charm and the opportunity to observe and participate in many 19th century activities. The gift shop is outsourced and ridiculously overpriced. Overall though, it's beautiful. They have a Sleepy Hollow production in October which is great. My favorite is December though. Sleigh rides, hot mulled cider, bonfires in the snow...
