We were delighted to get a special offer on short notice to stay at this hotel. It had excellent user reviews and the location right on the beach in the heart of the boardwalk looked terrific. There is nothing better than being able to walk right out the door onto the beach! As noted by other reviews, the hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy. We had a problem with our room upon check-in that was resolved within 20 minutes to our complete satisfaction. The front desk staff always were cheerful and helpful. We appreciated the free coffee at the front desk. At night, the hotel was very quiet - it seemed that mostly families with children were staying in the property and there was no one moving about after 9:30 pm. The only annoying aspect of our room was a safety device (not sure of its purpose) that cast a green glow across the room at night. We like our room to be as dark as possible so that was not the best for us. Otherwise, the room was great. Even though it was on the side of the hotel, its balcony had a good beach view including of sunrise over the ocean. We ate several meals in the restaurant attached to the hotel that were ok but not great. But that has to be put in the context of usual dining options at the beach. We definitely would stay here again.
