Malpensa airport is better than expected.. It s roomy. Huge actually! Quiet, clean, organized and easy. The tax free booth are not that crowded and so many booth so its faster to do all the tax-free business with them. Its direct and uncomplicated unlike other airports that you have to fall in line many times for the same transactions. In Malpensa, after showing your tax free stub, they assess and stamped pay you right there. Surprisingly easy as that. They have variety of restaurants, bars and cafes. Wide range of Duty Free Shops and Lounges for easy travel. The only thing You want to be careful with is since the airport is huge.. it will be a long walk from immigration to your gate. I doubt if three hours is enough from check in to the gate. Allow extra time to do everything. Anyways the airport has everything. So go to the airport early and if you have extra time.. you can go to lounges or any bar or restaurant inside the airport to relax. Have a safe and stress free travels.
