My laptop suddenly went off-line and then emitted what sounded like its death rattle - a series of harsh clicking sounds. I hastily pressed 'Escape' and the screen went blank. I connected it to the charger for a while but when I repeatedly tried turning it on it remained dead.
The gentleman at PC Repairs dominated this unco-operative machine from the word go. He fiddled with the leads and the 'on' button for a bit and suddenly it sprang into life. The computer was charged but not me. Thank you!
