I'm so dissapointed in my favorite ATL sushi bar. As a favorite patron of Nashville's Rusan's, I always came to this location when in town because of their fantastic buffet with large pieces of nigiri, large rolls, soups and sauces. Now, all that is gone and in it's place, now under new management, is a buffet with paper thin slices of nigiri and tiny rolls that would probably rival many low end Chinese buffets.
After seeing the bar, I opted to order via the a-la-carte menu from the bar. The shining light is that the quality was much better than what was on the bar, yet the pieces were small, especially for the price. I'm surprised in a place like Atlanta with all the competition, a business would not go for the "less for more" approach. The new redesigned interior is very nice, modern and clean, but as a patron I go to a sushi bar for one thing... The food.
Another frustration for me are the Spanish speaking sushi chefs that openly use fowl words while working at the bar, presuming that none of their patrons understand Spanish. This is unprofessional and not what I want to hear when patronizing a business.

So sad to say goodbye to Ru Sans and will start my search few a new favorite ATL sushi bar.
