Cedar Park Regional is a breeding ground for cross contamination. I worked there as the Director of Housekeeping for 2 months and my first order of business was realized very early on when I realized they did not change contaminated curtains out of patient rooms where the previous patient had a contractable disease. Disgusting. Not only that but when I borught it to the attention of my boss inside administration she blew it off as unimportant and far too costly to make changes at the time. So how many other patients who are already sick and coming to you to get better are going to be placed in a contaminated hosptial room? I feel bad for anyone having to stay at this hospital. Not only that but my boss and the brand new Assistant CNO both stayed at the hospital while I was employed there and both had bad experiences that needed several areas of improvment from housekeeping to Nursing and every depatment inbetween. Definitely would not recommend this hospital to friends or family.
