On March 2, 2020 we had no heat & contacted our heating & air repairman. He said we should contact BE to let them know. I called their emergency gas number & they had someone out within an hour after I smelled gas on the outside of our house near the gas meter. The female tech came out & did a furnace gas check, a ground gas leak test, & a gas leak test at the meter. There was an underground gas leak that was repaired the same day. The crew who did the repairs were very polite & clean. After the repair they did a full cleanup of all the dirt that was removed from the ground. The swept the driveway where the dirt sat & planted/sowed grass seed afterwards. The female tech stayed with us & kept us calm. She restarted our furnace & made sure everything was working properly. I have never had to deal with BGE for a gas problem before. It was a very good experience. Thank you BGE
