If I could give them negative stars, I would!! After not living at an old apartment for over 15 months, and calling to shut off service before I moved out, I find out through a bill collector this week that I am responsible for a whole year of electric service since they never shut it off/closed my account, and whoever moved in afterwards took advantage of their mistake. 15 months!! Not one phone call before this week regarding overdue any balances. You would think someone would have reached out to inquire on unpaid bills way sooner or at least shut off service for non-payment. Then the phone call I made requesting to shut off services somehow has miraculously disappeared. I have the rep tell me that a phone call from my old landlord confirming I wasn't living there any longer during those dates would suffice to remove the charges from my name. Well according to the supervisors the rep lied and nothing can be done, even though my old landlord did call and confirmed I wasn't the tenant in that time period, since the phone call requesting to shut off service has "disappeared".
