Nico Rousso Review of Pullman London St Pancras
Not a 4 star business.
Not a 4 star business.
Before entering the hotel we are struck by a cheap room fragrance in quantity that attacks your nose. We're at Abercrombie and Fitch. It is not a refined and elegant perfume, although it is really not discreet.
Check in: chaotic and the hostesses do not know how to explain the deposit of 50 per day for "deterioration of equipment". It begins badly.
In addition to one night booked by my company, I had booked 2 nights privately. I wanted to keep the same room. Hell what it looked like was complicated. My room was not ready. I am informed that I will receive an email to let me know when it is ready. I am still waiting for this email that I never received when they have the right address to send me the inquiry and the invoice.
I got my room back at 11:00 p.m.
Evening bar team:
not efficient and confusing for a 4 * hotel which plays its brand of gin specialist. For a group of 15 people the order was difficult to come. We went there three times to keep everything in order. The room was not held. I had to leave my bank card as a guarantee. I was given a key again. When paying, my bank card cannot be found ... which was not tidy. The addition was wrong. Catastrophic.
Breakfast: good level, rich and plentiful with the possibility of requesting extras in the kitchen (omettes with vegetables ...). Real orange juice (industrial) but tasty.
Top morning team. Too bad we park single people at the bar far from the light. Little rush from the staff to clear the table as soon as we finished our meal.
Room 804: on the street. Very noisy and not isolated from the noise of the road which is very busy. The windows of the 70s absolutely must be changed. They let all the noise pass. All rooms facing the street are housed in the same name. Prefer rooms facing the courtyard when possible.
The duvet (not the cover) is despicable. It is so old that the synthetic fibers are in balls in each of their squares.
The mattress is also very tired.
The air conditioning in the bedroom is extremely loud.
The bathroom is ridiculous and poorly laid out. A sliding door will be smarter.
The shower is not easy to use. You have to travel miles to turn the water on and off.
International and not only English sockets would be in good taste in an international hotel of this level.
The meridian takes up all the space and is not convenient to use the desk.
The room is absolutely not at the level. The Hilton around the corner is a better standard. It is Novotel level of the 80s.
For a business level establishment it's hard.
Check out: competent and fast.
Payment should be able to be made in . As on booking.
Apart from the ideal location 5 minutes from Saint Pancras, this hotel has nothing for him. It would deserve the Accor group to invest to bring it up to the level of that of Berlin. I will not return to this hotel, unless I have to.
