Hello "Emily's tests",

Hello "Emily's tests",

I just read your comment about the short Motion Designer course at the Multimedia School in which, like you, I was able to participate. And I would like to bring my point of view to it.

At first, Luc the school sales representative was very clear to me about the 2D / 3D Motion Design training. He was very familiar with the program and the essential and necessary prerequisites to integrate this course. His wise advice allowed me to fully and calmly integrate this short but no less intense training.

Regarding "Virtual Classes", the Multimedia School was very responsive during the RATP strikes and at the time of the pandemic. The distance learning courses followed normally and we could keep the video recordings of the said courses. Something that is not done in other schools. You can check.

Regarding the material I hear what you say. For my part I would have preferred to work on Macintosh. However, as you know, the PC environment is more powerful today for video and 3D work. And this is the work environment that you will find in many companies. The School is also there to put you in the same work environment as the one you are targeting by taking this training.

About the courses on the C4D software I understand the fact that you can find tutorials on a basic exercise in 3D modeling. And this is quite natural because it is precisely the basis for learning a software as complex as C4D. But apart from this exercise (offered by many schools and therefore easily found on the net), all the others were advanced and professional exercises that you would never have been able to find elsewhere.

And finally, the speakers. It is true that the job of trainer is not given to everyone. You can be a very good technician and a very bad teacher. It is quite normal to have connections with some of the speakers more than with others. But all, for my part, answered present whenever I needed it. Just like the teaching team who knew how to answer all my questions. And I had a lot, given my advanced age.

I'm sorry you did not find what you were looking for in the Multimedia School. Maybe this wasn't the training you needed given your skills. For my part, I found exactly what I was looking for. And today, thanks to this training, I can say without shame that I am a freelance 2D / 3D Motion Designer.
