Important piece of history, not just for Bristol but maritime history too. The museum was quiet when I visited, and parking easy and cheap on-site.


The place is well maintained, clean and safe, and the gift shop has surprisingly good prices for a museum shop, and some interesting things to buy.
Overall a solid half days worth of content, the years membership included in the ticket price is a bit questionable as I can't see much value in returning within a year as they don't appear to have many rotating exhibits - a lower price for a one off visit would be welcome, especially for one-off visitors to Bristol.
