I was referred to a cardiologist for my 10 yr old Yorkie, Chloe. I was lucky enough to get her an appointment with Dr. Goodwin. Her heart problem is caused by a heart murmur she has had since she was very young. Her heart is enormous now and I thought she would die relatively soon. Dr. Goodwin put me at ease immediately. He has a great sense of humor and is extremely patient and knowledgeable. I was able to stay with Chloe while she had her testing done and Dr. Goodwin explained everything I was looking at. He is always available by phone and as I report on her progress, he adjusts her medication accordingly. I have put her life in his hands and I am confident he will keep her alive as long as possible. As for the staff at the front desk, they have always been kind and friendly to me. As for cost, nothing is cheap and reasonable anymore. I believe you truly get what you pay for and they are no more expensive than other veterinary hospitals.
