Pretty nice hotel location.

The problem is that it seems to be updated only in certain areas with half of your room looking dated. The shower felt pretty dated and so did the lighting and a lot of the decor.

During my first visit the elevator was broken.

During my second visit the lock to open my door kept jamming.

Last year they didn t have a fridge in the king room. This year they had a fridge randomly off to the side of the dresser (see photos).

It s in a good location with friendly staff.

There s a huge restaurant on the main floor with a menu that looked pretty good and a full bar.

Indoor pool and college students everywhere since there's student housing located in the same building.

The room can get loud with outside traffic.

Parking is $12 in their deck. It s a little bit of a hike to get from the parking lot to the front desk and then to your hotel room.

Overall I ve stayed in almost all of the Marriott hotels in Columbia and this is one of my least favorite for the price and quality of the room. There s a few other hotels nearby that are a lot newer and nicer (Springhill and Courtyard).
